You might already know, it's very hard these days to do a simple international transfer. Just very laborious, if you try one way you might encounter some problems and if you explore to come up with a new way. There comes a new problem again.

The story starts like this, I want to transfer some funds from India to South Korea. But there is a twist, I can’t use PayPal. Why, you ask? The first reason, they don’t have PayPal, so sad. Second, there is no option to send Korean won from Indian rupees. Third and most importantly, they charge us for every penny we send.

The second method I dropped to was “Wire” previously “TransferWire”. I really thought for a sec, now I can transfer my funds. At last. But no! There comes another problem. They don’t have f***ing services to transfer to Korean Wons. There is a nice scene here also apart from all those massive transaction charges.

I was fed up so, I had to tell my friend in South Korea to help me out. He was great. But this might not be the case for everyone and including me, everyone doesn't have contacts all over the world.

Beans App to the Rescue

So what was the conclusion from my experience,

We need decentralized transfers, very low-interest rates, support for many currency conversions, and faster transfers. Which was unbelievable to exist before “blockchain” technology came into existence.

But here we are in the Blockchain era and we already have an amazing app developed and designed by some of the most talented people. It is called “Beans”.

If you ask “What is Beans?”

Beans is an app that gives anyone, anywhere in the world, access to free payments and a healthy-yield savings option — all through a simple, straightforward interface.

So….. What are the benefits?

Solving cross-border payment challenges: Traditionally, international transfers come with hefty transaction fees, slow transfer time, and a pretty complicated process.

What Beans does is it makes the process very easy even for people who don’t know anything about blockchain. Here are its plus,

  1. Ease-of-Use: No blockchain-related things you need to know, and it’s a non-custodial wallet (you and only you have access to private keys).
  2. Zero transactions fees: Beans at this moment does not charge any fees for sending, receiving or converting money.
  3. Hassle-free deposits and withdrawals: Easy and straightforward dashboard
  4. Easy send, swap, and request: Seamless currency conversion to any currency. Even request money using payment links or QR codes.
  5. Savings in any currency (with a healthy yield): Conversions between accounts are free and almost instantaneous. You can even earn a healthy yield on your savings.
  6. Beans use the highly-efficient Stellar blockchain: It offers fast and low-cost transactions, high throughput, an on-chain swap mechanism, and interoperability with fiat.
